Cello strings Pirastro Perpetual Soloist

The Pirastro Perpetual Soloist cello strings are small bombs. They are based on the Perpetual core and offer a harmonic broad sound, but the Soloist version is extra brilliant and focused. Verhy high tension strings, mainly on the upper strings.

The sound of Pirastro's newest Perpetual cello strings is crystal clear and precise, powerful and grand. Each string responds easily and directly. This is especially impressive with the G- and C-strings which respond immediate to the lightest bow techniques.

The Soloist tension provides the whole set unmatched radiance, brilliance, volume and presence. The ideal combination of brilliant fundamentals and soloist directness. The A and D strings are considerably higher in tension than the regular version, whereas G and C string are slightly lower in tension, so the focus is on a very projecting upper half. The D string is considerably thinner than usual.

New: the A string is now also available in light tension. It has a more dark, silken sound and is slightly easier to play.
