Shipping and pick up
At 4strings, you can choose to have your order delivered to your home or company address, or you can pick them up at our shop address: Blarenberglaan 6 - BULO offices, 2800 Mechelen, Belgium.
Shipping
The shipping costs are automatically calculated based on the weight and size of your package. We use two categories to calculate shipping costs:
- bpost letterbox post: parcels of less than 350g that fit through a mailbox opening can be shipped as letterbox mail. Think of orders with only strings (violin strings, viola strings, cello strings and most double bass strings) and small accessories. These are shipped in sturdy (bubble) envelopes and are not traceable, unless you choose registered shipping. The shipping costs are the following:

Pick up
You can also collect your order at the following address: Blarenberglaan 6 - BULO offices, 2800 Mechelen, Belgium. Select the option "Pick up" at the shipping page. Of course, there will be no additional shipping charges for a pick up order.
For the moment pick-ups are only on appointment. After placing your order, you can make an online reservation to select a pick up moment.
Your order should be paid in advance if you choose to pick it up, either by bank wire, either by online payment. You can also choose to pay your order in cash at the moment of pick up, or with a smartphone payment. In that case, select "bank wire" as payment option and let us when you make the online reservation that you'll be paying at our shop.
Stock and delivery terms
4strings aims to deliver your order as quick as possible. Most articles are well in stock and can be shipped on business days within 24 hours after reception of payment. Within Belgium and the Netherlands, delivery will usually take place within 24 to 48 hours afterwards (depending on your shipping method). For other EU countries delivery can take a little bit longer up to 5 business days (again depending on your shipping method). For very specific, unusual strings, there can be a slightly longer delivery time. If that is the case, we will let you know as soon as possible. But rest assured that we have quite the stock!
