Viola strings D'Addario Kaplan Vivo

Kaplan Vivo viola strings belong to the newest sets by D'Addario. They offer a powerful, projecting sound that doesn't become shrill, and are ideal to brighten up darker sounding instruments.

The Kaplan Vivo strings were introduced some years ago for violin, but now D'Addario has optimized these synthetic string for viola as well. The Vivo string set offers a powerfull, clear sound with big volume and lots of projection, without sounding shrill. The sound is focused, yet at the same time rich and with room for lots of overtones and undertones.

Vivo viola strings are available in different sizes:

• Long scale (4/4): 16-17"/40,5-43cm body lengte / VSL 38cm
• Medium scale (4/4): 15-16"/38-40,5cm body lengte / VSL 36cm (only medium tension)
