Viola strings Larsen Virtuoso Soloist

The Soloist version of the Larsen Virtuoso viola strings offers the broad, colourful sound of the regular version, but with a lot more projection and volume. The tension is slightly higher.

These brand new strings for viola were released by Larsen in 2018, after the huge succes of the series on violin. Larsen produces for this set of multi-filament synthetic strings only the D, G and C strings, and combines it with the popular original steel Larsen A, still unmatched in sound quality. Virtuoso for viola is available in Medium and Soloist versions. The Medium version is characterized by a broad, colourful and full sound. The Soloist version has a more brilliant, focused and louder sound. Absolutely worth a try!
