Helicore violin strings are crafted with a multi-stranded steel core, resulting in optimal playability while producing a clear, warm tone. The smaller string diameter provides quick bow response. The standard set contains following strings:

• E string: steel, unwound
• A string: stranded steel, aluminum wound
• D string: stranded steel, titanium wound
• G string: stranded steel, silver wound (4/4 set) or nickel wound (smaller sets)

• E string aluminum wound: warmer, fuller sound than onwound E string
• C string: for 5-string violins
