• E string: multilayer steel, tin plated
• A string: synthetic, aluminum wound
• D string: synthetic, silver wound
• G string: synthetic, silver wound

Extra options:

• A string chrome steel wound: an even more brilliant, projecting sound than aluminum wound A, less sensitive to sweat
• D string aluminum wound: somewhat rounder sound, thicker string than silver wound D string
• C string silver wound: for five strings violins or other uses
